The following are the most frequently asked questions about the GripperClip™
NO. The GripperClip is placed closest to the hinge on the inside arm of a pair of glasses. Because the GripperClip rests on the inside arm, it is both hidden from other people's view and unnoticed by its owner. GripperClip simply remains at the ready for when you need it most.
While the current GripperClip design does not support all eyewear, rest assured we designed the GripperClip to be used with a large percentage of sunglasses, eyeglasses and readers. The clip itself is less than 5mm wide. This means that unless you are wearing wire rimmed glasses, the GripperClip should be a good fit for your glasses. To help confirm, simply measure the width of your glasses arm/temple. If the arm’s width is under 3/16 of an inch, the GripperClip might not be a good fit. In most cases we are talking about wire rimmed glasses.

The GripperClip was intentionally designed to be discreet and useful. Consequently, the GripperClip should be placed near the hinge on the inside arm of your eyewear.
We recommend customers install the GripperClip on the same arm as their dominant hand (e.g. right-handed customers install on the right arm of their sunglasses). Proper installation will make it easier for you to use the clip. Prior to application, make sure to wipe the arm to remove any grease or residue.
YES. In the rare case you find yourself wanting to remove a GripperClip, simply apply a small amount of rubbing alchol to the adhsive strip. Next, begin to pull the clip back off your glasses arm. Once the GripperClip has been removed, a small amount of rubbing alcohol can be used to remove any leftover adhesive.
